Persistent Management Proudly Announces the Addition of Hit Songwriter George Merrill to their Roster

Artist management company Persistent Management proudly announces the addition of hit singer/songwriter/producer George Merrill to their roster. Merrill, along with his songwriting partner Shannon Rubicam, has penned legendary hit songs for Whitney Houston (“How Will I Know” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”), Smokey Robinson, Dolly Parton, Bette Midler and Deniece Williams.  

Along with Rubicam, Merrill later formed the duo Boy Meets Girl and  wrote the hit singles "Oh Girl" and “Waiting For A Star To Fall” as well as releasing four full length albums. In the last few years he's written  songs with the legendary Thom Bell,  produced the debut album for Australian singer/songwriter Ian Hopkinson and written over 15 songs with Western storyteller Larry Kenneth Potts.
